Queen Latifah’s New Talk Show Wrangles All-Star Producers
Queen Latifah is set to return to the daytime talk show circuit later this year, and this time with a dream team group of heavy-hitting producers:
Executive Producer and show runner, and Five-time Emmy-winner (Chelsea Lately, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, The Nate Berkus Show)
Co-Executive Producer (The Tonight Show, The Late, Late Show With Craig Kilborn, ROVE LA)
Supervising Producer (The Oprah Winfrey Show)
Supervising Producer (Good Morning America)
Supervising Producer (The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson) and
Supervising Producer (MTV, Obama Campaign)
The Queen Latifah Show is produced by Flavor Unit, Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, and will be running on CBS stations nationwide. Flavor Unit is Queen Latifah’s own production company that has produced several of Queen Latifah’s hit films. Overbrook Entertainment is the highly successful production company owned and operated by Will and Jada Smith- its films have grossed over 2.5 billion dollars at the box office, with The Karate Kid starring Jaden Smith being the most recent success.
The Queen Latifah Show original run was for 2 season during 1999-2001 with mixed success. With the all-star producer line-up this is sure to be a lasting success in a crowded and high-turn-over daytime talk show landscape. Get the full press release.
